The Anatomy of Annika Johnson
A preliminary study of the
aspiring art director.
THE MIND: Scientifically trained, creatively wired. I studied biology, but my interests eventually expanded into visual experiments, strange ideas, and making things. Turns out, science and creativity have more in common than I expected.

THE EYES: Without my glasses or contacts, the world gets really blurry. My eyesight sparked my interest in biology and optometry.

THE HEART: Born and raised in Indiana, I have a soft spot for the Midwest and all the overlooked things that make it special. Golden sunsets, front porch conversations, and finding beauty in the places most people drive past. There's something remarkable about the ordinary, and I love finding it.
Ref 3.
THE STOMACH: A strange appreciation for black licorice jelly beans, discontinued snacks, and Red Bull flavors that deserve a comeback. Fig Apple and Blueberry, if you're listening, come back to me.
Ref 4.
THE HANDS: A constant need to make something, whether it’s crocheting, bracelet-making, illustration, or whatever craft I’ve picked up lately. If I can make it, I probably want to try it.

THE KNEES: Golf has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From childhood rounds to four years of collegiate competition, the game has taught me patience, persistence, and how to laugh at a bad shot. I love the challenge of chasing something that never quite feels perfect. The knees, however, have their own opinions.
Ref 6.
THE FEET: A love for music that makes it impossible to sit still. EDM, rock, pop, and anything loud, fun, and worth dancing to. If the beat is good, my feet are moving.
